Technology We Use

Our advanced and varied technology gives you the opportunity to delve into new and exciting avenues of veterinary medicine and elevate your abilities. The Vet Practice utilises a wide range of sophisticated tools and equipment you can learn about and potentially use yourself as you progress in your career. Learn, grow, and expand your boundaries with the technology we have to offer.

We are the first clinic in Australia to have a veterinary hyperbaric oxygen therapy (HBOT) machine. It administers 100% pure oxygen for approximately one hour to each patient. This treatment yields outstanding results, repairing damaged tissues, decreasing inflammation, and enhancing the healing process. We use our HBOT chamber roughly 6-8 hours a day!

With CT scan, our team can detect health problems in pets that may be less visible with other types of imaging. We can use it to diagnose issues related to the heart, lungs, brain, bones, and joints.

Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) allows us to evaluate the soft tissues, including muscles, tendons, and nerves. We can use this technology to detect tumors, cysts, swelling, bleeding, and other conditions.

Laser surgery is less invasive and traumatic than traditional scalpel surgery. The surgical laser reduces bleeding and inflammation after surgery, lessens overall post-op discomfort, and can help your pet heal faster, as well.

Another popular therapy we offer is hydrotherapy. We utilise 2 underwater treadmills and a pool for our rehab patients. It’s similar to water aerobics for the elderly or for people recovering from an injury or surgery. The pool is beneficial to pets that cannot walk or walk well, because the water’s buoyancy makes them weightless and doesn’t put stress on their limbs.
